This was the sweetest little festive winter session for these two at my Isanti, MN studio. It is such an honor when my clients return to me & I love watching the babies & kiddos grow! Mom wanted a wintery set up for her session & what's more wintery than frosted evergreens & pine cones when you live in Minnesota lol! Except snow of course but we opted to leave that outside where it belongs! Little Dominic was all smiles thanks to Mom, Dad & his big sis Daniella! Mom nailed it with their adorable coordinating outfits. I always tell my clients, "Don't match, coordinate." Matchy matchy was a huge trend in the 80s & 90s. Coordinating gives you so much more room to style your outfits for photos. It's helpful to pick 2 main colors that compliment each other & then pick your neutral color such as white, gray, khaki/tan. Or in the case of my clients here, mom picked a classic color palette of red & green, with navy acting as the neutral. And of course always check with your photographer as they should be able to help you choose your outfits.
