This beautiful couples session is so close to my heart. When Markaye asked me to do a session in remembrance of the babies she had lost, as well as a celebration of her's & Alex's love that got them through, I said 1000% times YES. 1 in 4 women will experience a miscarriage & 1 in 8 struggle with infertility. It is such a devastating & emotional thing to go through. But what really stood out to me was Alex & Markaye's positivity. Their hope was a shining sun. And when there is hope, I believe you can make it through anything. Watching them both during their session brought me to tears. The joy, the love, the quiet moments where they breathed through their pain & loss together were the threads that knotted this session together. I have no doubt that these two will realize their dream of holding their sweet baby in their arms one day. They are already amazing parents.
